Major League Baseball Player. He was a pitcher in five seasons (1963 to 1966, 1971) for the New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers. His best year was in 1963 when he posted a 3.42 ERA in 58 appearances. In 173 career games, Bearnarth won 13 and lost 21 with a 4.13 lifetime ERA. After retiring as a player, Bearnarth was a coach for eleven seasons for the Montreal Expos and Colorado Rockies.
