Lowell Acres Beasley, 79, of Mount Airy, N.C., died Sunday, December 9, 2001, at Northern Hospital of Surry County.
He was born November 17, 1922 in Patrick County and was a son of the late Charlie and Bertie Dunkley Beasley.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Carroll Hodges and Iris DeHart, and a brother, Roy Beasley.
Surviving are his wife, Malzie Casstevens Beasley of the home; three daughters, Debra Anderson of Waynesboro, Teresa Richardson of Lowgap, N.C., and Sandra Holyfield of Dobson, N.C.; one son, Ronald Beasley of Mount Airy; one sister, Geneva Hawks of Ararat and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, December 12 at Moody Funeral Home chapel in Mount Airy by the Revs. Larry Stone and Steve Johnson. Burial was in Westside Baptist Church cemetery.
