Patricia Joy Arndorfer, 81, Post Falls, Idaho, went home with her Lord and Savior on June 9, 2013. Services will be held at 10 a.m. MDT Wednesday, July 3, at the Hettinger Lutheran Church and burial will follow at the Hettinger Cemetery.

Born to Chester and Mildred Beaumont on Jan. 25, 1932, in Bismarck, she spent all of her childhood on a farm near Bucyrus. On June 22, 1950, she married her high school sweetheart, James (Jim) Dean Arndorfer. Together they had three children, Cynthia Froehlich (Richard), Post Falls, Thomas Arndorfer (Cindy), Hettinger, and Brad Arndorfer (Julie), Billings, Mont.

Patricia found great blessing from her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren are Shawn Arndorfer (Mariya) and their children, Mikayla, Garret, Dillon and Derek; Seth Arndorfer (Ali), and their children, Jace and Reece; Sam Arndorfer (Brooke), and their children, Rylyn and Tatum; Mike Froehlich (Michelle), and their children, Haiden and Brennen; Jessica Hammond (TJ), and their children, MacKenzie and Kaden; Karissa Kautzman (Shane), and their son, Tracen; and youngest grandchild, Joe Arndorfer.

She went to school in Bucyrus until her senior year and graduated high school in Hettinger, in 1950. Jim and she married shortly after graduation. They then moved to Alabama as Jim was in the service. After his military service they moved back to the family farm in Hettinger, until his untimely death in 1989. Patricia loved to golf, play bridge, bowl and be with her many friends.

She moved to Hayden, Idaho, in 1999, where her daughter, Cindy and her family resided. She resided with Pete Ihle for 14 years before her death.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jim Arndorfer; and her close family: her sisters, Helen Lundahl and Beverly Zimmerman; her sister, Fern Uhler; her brother, William Beaumont; and numerous nieces and nephews survive her.
