Only daughter or Confederate General P.G.T. Beauregard. Tomb notable for unique Moorish design, the only example of Muslim architecture in New Orleans cemeteries. Died of "milk leg" (Iliofemoral Thrombophlebitis, or Phlegmasia Alba Dolens, caused by the inflammation of the femoral vein) 8 weeks after giving birth to daughter Laure. Other daughter, Lillian, died of Diphtheria as a child.
