Emma Frances "Snook" Beckett Beaver, 86, of Hurricane died Noveber 23, 2011 at Putnam Care and Rehabilitation, Hurricane. She was the last surviving child of the late Veda Martin Beckett and Walter Beckett of Hurricane and the widow of Charles W. Beaver, also of Hurricane.
She was of the Christian faith and claimed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She taught her step-grandchildren to love animals; she loved her flowers and gardening and was a wonderful and well-loved influence on all their lives.
She is survived by
her step-children, Bob Beaver of Amite, Louisiana;
Bill Beaver of Hurricane and Helen Beckett of Hurricane;
her step-grandchildren, Donna Erickson, Diane Herrara, Scott Beaver, Devon Jeffcoat, Malia Dotson, Paul Beaver, Michael Beckett, Gregory Beckett, Jennifer Burton and Hope Hinrichs;
eleven step-great grandchildren;
3 step great-great grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews.
