Sam was the son of Richard and Shirley (DuChene) Beckett.
Sam worked for Local 169 as a boilermaker for 25 years. He enjoyed bow hunting, participated in archery competitions, and was a member/Vice President of the Fly-In-Wheels of Oscoda motorcycle club.
Sam is survived by the light of his life, his loving daughter Samantha Beckett of Madison Heights, MI; brothers, Pete (Laura) Beckett of Marine City, MI, Rick Beckett of Algonac, MI, Mike Beckett of Port Huron, MI, and Steve Beckett of Algonac; sisters, Cindy (Bill) Merrill of Midland and Carol (Jesse) Seczawa of Marine City; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Ron Hoadley and Mary Saputo.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Tim Beckett.
