Alice Guenette Beckman Resident of Walnut Creek Alice, 95, passed away peacefully on October 12. Born in Masbeth, Long Island on November 23, 1917, she grew up in Hillside, NJ, and graduated from Hillside High. Alice met her husband, Harold Beckman, in Hillside. They were wed on August 30, 1940, and had one son, Harold Jr. They happily relocated to California, living in Alamo, Santa Rosa, and as a widow, she moved to Walnut Creek. Alice was a devoted and loving mother and wife, family always first in her life. She had a passion for art and was a gifted and award winning painter and water colorist. She was preceded in death by her son, Harold Beckman Jr., her husband, Harold Beckman, Sr. and sister Caroline Wilhelm, and leaves behind one niece, Kathi DiSesa, and three nephews, Richard Wilhelm, William Wilhelm and Dennis Beckman. Family Graveside Services will be held at Santa Rosa Memorial Park. Arrangements entrusted to: LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL, Directors 707 539-2921
