Martha was born October 6, 1914, at her parents rural home near Johnson, NE, the daughter of Henry and Martha (Stutheit) Beckmann. She married Harlyn Allison in Danville, IL. in 1940. He preceded her in death.

Martha was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Louisville, KY and a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Decatur, IL. She worked at Mutual Home and Savings and Fairies Park Pro Shop Golf Course, where her husband was the 1st golf professional.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harlyn, son Daniel, two sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, IL, with visitation one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in North Fork Cemetery, Decatur, IL.
