The IV designation is only to advise readers that its the fourth man of this name I have entered into this cemetery; Using his date of birth carved on the tombstone as 1869, it seems that this is the son of Daniel Bedinger. We learn this since JP Cilley tells us that a son, Benjamin F Bedinger was born in 1869 [p37, JP Cilley of Rockland's slim book, The Cilley Genealogy,c1878].

A 1 pg. typed chart which was given to me by Ruth Wade Cox Brunings, c2007, designates this man as a son of Daniel Bedinger. Also my old notes written on the chart during my visit with Ruth, down at her home in Walton KY indicate that no issue came down from his son, George Gaines Bedinger.
