Nancy Bedinger's death notice in the Hampshire Review, Romney, West Virginia (extracted by Cheryl H. singhal) says only "Mrs. Nancy Beddinger [sic] d 16 Jl, aged 77, Lutheran." There is every reason to believe that she is buried in the Reynolds-Bedinger Graveyard and is no doubt, in one of the burials with a field stone or funeral tin on either side of her husband John, although she has no tombstone. There is no substantial evidence for assigning an 1843 marriage date for Nancy Godlove and John Bedinger, however, John first shows up in the 1843 Hardy County Personal Property Tax List and Nancy's mother Mary Ann Godlove is in Hardy's 1840 census, so it is reasonable to assume the marriage took place in Hardy County.
