OBITUARY---EVA MAE BEET

BRIGHTON---Eva Mae Beet, 68, of Brighton, died Dec. 26 at the McPherson Community Health Center following a lengthy illness.

Born in 1895 in Brighton, she was the daughter of Charles and Harriet Fields Culver. She was married to Albert Beet, Sr. on July 1, 1916, in Howell.

Mrs. Beet attended Howell schools, the Howell Methodist Church and was a Member of the Eastern Star. A county resident for 60 years, she lived in both Howell and Brighton.

Survivors include her husband, one daughter Helen Uber of Brighton, one son, Albert, Jr. of Chanute Air Force Base, Rantoul, Ill, a sister Helen Euler of Brighton, a brother, Stanley Culver, and sister-in-law, Mrs. Stanley Culver, both of Detroit, and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held today, Dec.29 from the MacDonald Funeral Home with the Rev. Allan Gray of the Walnut Street Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery.
