Lewiston Man is Called by Death
Alanson Beggs Conducted Greenhouse Business
LEWISTON, Jan. 18 — Alanson Beggs, 60 years old, of this village, died last evening at Memorial hospital, Niagara Falls, after a short illness.
Mr. Beggs is survived by his wife, Eva Moyer Beggs; three daughters, Marion and Doris, at home, and Mrs. Irwin Keller, of Niagara Falls; one son, Harrison Beggs, of Niagara Falls; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Powell, of Lewiston, Mrs. Leonard Truesdale and Mrs. Celia Suman, of Youngstown, and Miss Frances Beggs, of Niagara Falls.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home. The Rev. Gordon Newfang will officiate. Interment will be in Riverdale cemetery.
Mr. Beggs conducted a large greenhouse business here. Some years ago he was employed on the Niagara Gorge railroad for many years.
