ONEIDA - Mrs. Bessie Beggs, 77, of Durhamville, died yesterday in a Utica Hospital after an illness of several years.
Born in Alfredfi, Aug 12, 1877, she married Jay Beggs. He died 15 years ago. Mrs. Beggs was a member of Durhamville Baptist Church and a member of Helping Hand Rebekah Lodge.
Surviving are a brother, Willard King, Durhamville; a sister, Mrs. Helen Clark, Scotia, and several nephews and nieces.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Munroe Funeal Home with the Rev. Robert E. Hughes, pastor of Oneida Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, near Higginsville.
