Funeral services for Carol E. Alfredson, 72, 3305 16th St., Menominee, were held Tuesday, March 26 at Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church. Rev. William Shepard officiated with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Kell-Walker Funeral Home served the family.

She died Saturday, March 22 [2002] at the Luther Home.

The former Carol E. Behnke, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond (Emma Miler) Behnke was born Jan. 6, 1930 in Marinette. She graduated from Marinette High School in 1948 and she worked at Millprint, Inc. and Plankington Packing in Milwaukee. In October of 1949 she returned to Marinette and worked for Scott Paper Company. On Nov. 4, 1950 she married Soren R. Alfredson in Marinette. He preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 2001. She was a member of Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church, the Church Choir, Menominee American Legion Auxiliary, North Shore Golf Club and Menominee County Lloyd Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include ...

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerome; and a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and John Pogrant.
