Aldin Ervin Belford, 96, of Winchester, Va, died on Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Winchester Medical Center.
Mr Belford was born on October 26, 1914 in Capon Bridge, WV, a son of the late John Mack and Malissa Clark Belford. He was a farmer, orchardist, gardener, and dairy farmer.He was a member of the Farmers Livestock Exchange and former board member of the CO-OP of Southern States. He was a member of the Christian Faith. He also loved to fish, hunt and run his fox hounds. Mr Belford married Icie Pearl Eula Kerns Belford on August 24, 1933 in Capon Bridge, WV. Mrs. Belford died in July 13, 1993.
He is preceded in death by two children: Nancy Lodge and Charles Belford, three brothers and five sisters. Funeral services will be held at the Giffin Funeral Holme in Capon Bridge, WV on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Bobby Sylvia and Steven Jayne. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery near Gore, VA. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 5-8 PM.
