Burton H Belknap, 93, of Clipp Road, New Scotland, died Tuesday in Child's Hospital, Albany. He was a retired associate supervisor of Rural Education for the State Department of Education.
A native of St. Clair, Mich. he had resided in New Scotland for about 45 yrs. a communicant of the First United Methodist Church, Rensselaer, he also was a member of the McMillan Masonic Lodge, Newberry, Mich, and the National Education
Association.
Survivors include his wife, the former Marjorie K. Savoie of New Scotland; a granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair, Mich. Local funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Applebee Funeral Home, Delmar.
