BELL, Charlotte Irene "Peg" - 76, 424 College Rd., Bible Hill, died Thursday, May 15, 2003, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Bible Hill, she was a daughter of the late John and Susan (Bartaux) Birch. She was a former employee of Stanfield's Ltd., Truro where she had worked for 32 years. She was a member of St. David's United Church, Bible Hill and was an active member of the Y.M.C.A. She is survived by her husband, William "Billy"; daughter, Susan Mosher and her husband Mark, Debert; son, John, Ontario; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Marjorie Stevens, Wallace; Roberta Blaikie and her husband Richard, Ethel McSwain and her husband Eddie, all of Bible Hill; Evelyn Langille, Ontario; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, William "Billy"; sister, Gwendolyn in infancy; brother, Kenneth. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, in Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro, Rev. Ebbie Snow officiating. Burial will be held in Bible Hill Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to IWK Health Centre Foundation.
