Mrs. Pogodzienski, widow of Walter C. Pogodzienski, died Friday evening, December 10, at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven after a brief illness. She was born in South Britain, July 15, 1913, a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Kus) Belz, and lived in Waterbury for the pnst60 years. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church and a member of the Ladies Guild of the parish.
She leaves a son, Walter H. Pogodzienski of Oakville; a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Janet) P. Mason of Largo, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Hurley of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Daney of Chicago Heights, Ill., and Helen Crandall of Hamden; and five grandchildren.
