Mrs. Rose Florence Benjamin died July 1 at St. Francis Hospital In Blue Island. She was born March 17, 1871 in Clifton, Illinois, and has resided with her daughter, Mrs. Emma Tomky at 312 W. 138th Street in Riverdale. She formerly lived on Leyden Avenue in Riverdale and had been a resident of this community for more than 40 years.
She leaves, besides her daughter, a grand daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Sypten, two great grandsons of Riverdale, three step-daughters, Mrs. Rose Traynick of Worth, Il., Mayme Benjamin of Kankakee, Mrs, Loretta Lanman of Columbus, Ohio,, two stepsons, Charles Benjamin of: Steubenville,. Ohio, and Edward Benjamin of Kankakee and a sister, Mrs. Emma Laurent of Villa Park. Il.
Funeral services were Monday, July 6 at 9:30 a. m. from St. Mary's Church In Riverdale
Interment was in Clifton cemetery, Clifton
