Following an illness, Mrs. Clara A. Barbeau, wife of Andrew G. Barbeau, 68 Liberty street, died in Oswego hospital Thursday evening.
Born in Canada, the daughter of the late Shiley and Mary Benn.
Mrs. Barbeau came to Oswego about 50 years ago and had since resided in the First ward. She was a communicant of St. Mary's church.
Surviving besides her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Peter White, Old Forge; one brother, Hugh Benn, Oriskany Falls and five grandchildren.
Burial will be in St. Peter's cemetery.
