Elizabeth Busch Dies in Cyprus

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in Spearfish for Mrs. Elizabeth Bennett Busch, who died Oct. 18 in Cypius where she and her husband had lived for several years.

The final rites were held at the All Angels Episcopal Church with Rev. Gilbert Armstrong officiating. Organ music was played by Wallace Velte.

Pallbearers were Dr. Russell E. Jonas, Cecil Haight, Mark Richmond, Dr. B. S. Clark, James Nelson, all of Spearfish and Ralph Stordahl, Rapid City. Interment was in the Rosehill cemetery under the direction of the Fidler Funeral Chapel. PEO services were conducted by the Spearfish chapter Thursday evening.

Mrs. Elizabeth Bennett Busch, former resident of Spearfish, died Friday at Nicosia, Cyprus, where she and her husband, safety director for Cyprus Mines Inc., had lived for several years.

Mrs. Busch was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bennett who taught at the Black Hills Teachers College and in the Spearfish school system.

She was born Dec. 7, 1904 in Illinois and attended Black Hills Teachers College, graduating from the University of Illinois.

Following her marriage to W. Dinon Busch, they lived in California where he taught in various schools before going to Cyprus. She is survived by her husband and a brother John Bennett, West Chicago, Ill.
