Age 84 of Wilmington, DE, passed away on February 17, 2011. He was a WWII Coast Guard veteran. Earl was an Engineer with the DuPont Company retiring in 1986 after 36 years service. He attended Faith Baptist Church.

Earl is survived by his wife, Carolyn E. Bennett; children, Sharon Harrison, David (Linda), Sandra Hazzard (Tom), Dan (Jessica), and Sheryl Parrisan (Ron); brother, Wesley Bennett; sister, Beverly Tobin; grandchildren, Yvonne, Michelle, Christopher, Matthew, Steven, and Dan Jr.; great-grandchildren, Mark, Caiden, Ashley, Stacey, Caleb, and Adelynn; and 1 great-great-grandson, Daniel.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, at 11 am at the MCCRERY & HARRA FUNERAL HOME, 3710 Kirkwood Highway at Duncan Road where friends may call after 10. Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. To send condolences
