Moving to Merritt Island, Florida in November 1977, Janice raised two devoted sons, Kohn and Maath Bennett. In the years that followed Janice partly owned and operated two successful local interior decorating businesses. Janice joined the fellowship of disciples at First Baptist Church of Cocoa in 1981 where she served faithfully until her death.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents and her husband ,Warner David Yancey. She is survived by her sons, Kohn and his wife Joy, and Maath and his wife Robin; grandchildren, Jake Skinner Bennett, Emily Noel Bennett, Tucker Wilson Bennett, Ethan Conner Bennett and Jesse Jack Bennett; sister and brother-in-law Donna and Joe Graham and brother and sister-in-law John and Kay Wilson.
Memorial Service will be held at The First Baptist Church of Cocoa, 750 Brevard Avenue, on Saturday, August 10, 2013. Visitation at 11 am followed by a 12 pm memorial service.
