He is survived by parents, Sam and Marilyn Bennett; sisters, Starla Smith and Lindsey Bennett; brother, Kyle Bennett; grandparents, Wally and Betty Williams; and many more family members and friends who loved him dearly.
Kirk was a 2006 Deltona High School graduate and attended Daytona Beach Community College. He was a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church. Kirk was known by all to be an optimist and an encourager. He was a talented guitarist, songwriter and recording artist. He received a music scholarship from the Deltona Historical Arts Center.
Kirk saw the best in all people. His gentle spirit of love will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know him in his short life.
Family and friends will gather Saturday, June 21, at 12:30 p.m. at Trinity Assembly of God, 875 Elkcam Blvd., Deltona, FL 32725 with service to follow at 2 p.m.
