Annie M. (JONES) BENNETT was born the daughter and youngest child of Joseph Newton JONES & Matilda Ann BIXLER. She married John Neslely BENNETT in 1894 apparently not in Iowa where six of her elder siblings were married [five in Decatur County one in Lucas County] Annie's only child Clarence John BENNETT was born 16d 12m 1894 in Pedro, Pennington Co, South Dakota. Annie died at the young age 11 days short of her 23rd birthday. Her husband John remarried and had a large family and moved to Carstairs, Alberta.
