Opal Virginia Bennett Arbogast, 80, of Junior, died following an extended illness at Davis Memorial Hospital, Elkins, West Virginia.

She was born July 29, 1911, in Junior, a daughter of the late Charles and Carrie Shomo Bennett. On December 24, 1926, she married George W. Arbogast, who survives in Junior.

Also surviving are two sons, Paul Arbogast of Portland, Oregon and Norman Arbogast, of Everett, Washington; one daughter Doris Alkire, of Clarion, Pennsylvania; her sister, Ruth (Emory) Row, of Junior; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Arbogast was a former cook at the Junior Elementary School. She was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church and active in many community activities.

Funeral services were held at Calvary United Methodist Church in Junior. The Reverend Denzil Moore officiated. Interment is at the Mountain View Knights of Pythias Cemtery.
