Martha Anna Allman, 55, of Davis, went to be with the Lord Monday, Sept. 12, 2005, at Davis Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 21, 1949, at Horse Shoe Run, a daughter of the late George Adam Bennett and Maxine Virginia Newbraugh, who survives in Cortland Acres Nursing Home at Thomas.
She is also survived by her husband, Cline "Buck" Allman of Canaan Valley; her mother-in-law, Ruth S. Allman of Eglon; one daughter, Nancy and Robert White of Hendricks; one adopted son, William Charles Allman of Davis; three brothers, George Bennett of Job, William Bennett of Elkins and Robert Bennett of Linden, Va.; three sisters, Virginia Cole of Martinsburg, Bonnie and Hugh Bright of Hendricks and Lilly Bennett of Dryfork; and one grandson, Wyatt Edwin White.
Mrs. Allman was a rug weaver, quilter and a loving homemaker.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Hinkle Funeral Home in Davis. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Hauser officiating. Interment will follow in Buena Cemetery. The family asks, due to allergic reactions to flowers, memorial donations be made to Martha's Memorial Fund in care of Grant County Bank, P.O. Box 129, Harman, W.Va. 26270. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
