Mimmit, as she was affectionately called by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, will be greatly missed. She will also be greatly missed by her sidekick and "lap dog", Jacque Pierre, who will miss the nightly serving of ice cream.
Eula was the owner/operator of Angelle's Cajun Fried Chicken from 1972 until she retired in 1986, where she served the best fried chicken and rice dressing in the area.
She is survived by two sons, Russell J. Angelle and his wife, Maxlene, of Cecilia, and Danny J. Angelle, of Henderson; one daughter, Sally A. Angelle and her companion, Russ Brown, of Henderson; her grandchildren, Jody J. Angelle and his wife, Vicki, Patrick R. Angelle and his wife, Wendy, of Cecilia, Lisa A. Baker and her husband, Martin, of Parks, Emily Angelle and Skip B. Angelle, both of Lafayette, and Gustin P. Angelle and his wife, Megan, of Youngsville; and her great grandchildren, Natalie C. Angelle, Denton "Scooter" Angelle, Molly Angelle, all of Cecilia, and Leland Baker, of Parks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. "Putsie" Angelle; and her parents, Gustin and Orelie Usie Benoit.
