Lillian Abshire, 84, of Winnie went to be with the Lord at Hermann Memorial Baptist Hospital.
A native of Louisiana she had lived in the Winnie area for more than sixty-five years.
Survivors include her husband of sixty-five years, Curtis Abshire; sons, Harold "Popeye" Abshire, Tommy Abshire; daughters, Concetta Rollins and her husband Malcom, Kay Benson, Kim Mazzola and her husband Johnny; sisters, Vina Breaux, Jeanette Verde, Trixie Bertrand and her husband Alex; brother, Reed Benoit and wife Edelia; seventeen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard's, 134. W. Buccaneer Drive.
