Laura Mae Benoit Andras, 79, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, after a brief battle with cancer.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Andras; five sons, Carl Andras and wife, Shirley, Michael Andras and wife, Sandy, Joey Andras, Jeffery Andras and wife, Melanie, and Bobby Andras and wife, Rachel; one brother, Dolese Benoit and wife, Beatrice; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Freddie Andras; her parents, Oremile Benoit and Mary Sanchez Benoit; her siblings, Mack Benoit, Eddie Benoit, Dave Benoit, Bernice Sanchez, Estelle Boudreaux, Eve Hymel and Tillie Ordoyne; and her son-in-law, Raymon Andras.
