She was born Feb. 5, 1925, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Esther Hanlon and Edward A. Benoit. She married Oscar E. Altis; he preceded her in death. A son, Gregory S. Andersen, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Altis was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal Church in Branson, Mo.
Survivors: a granddaughter, Christina E. Altis; a nephew; and two great-nieces.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Forsyth Whelchel Chapel, Forsyth. Graveside services: 11 a.m. Friday, Oak Ridge Cemetery.
