FORSYTH, Mo. - Beverly V. Altis, 79, of Forsyth, formerly of Springfield, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, at Forsyth Nursing and Rehab.
She was born Feb. 5, 1925, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Esther Hanlon and Edward A. Benoit. She married Oscar E. Altis; he preceded her in death. A son, Gregory S. Andersen, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Altis was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Episcopal Church in Branson, Mo.
Survivors: a granddaughter, Christina E. Altis; a nephew; and two great-nieces.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Forsyth Whelchel Chapel, Forsyth. Graveside services: 11 a.m. Friday, Oak Ridge Cemetery.
