The original headstone was erected at the year in 1909 & past many years, the headstone was possible made of wood or stone that was broken or removed a long time ago. The body is still in the ground, no one has changed that until year of 2008 her gravesite was without headstone and we family Darlene (Stewart) Cochran, Gene Stewart, and Keith Stewart purchased a new headstone for her in early 2009. Beside next on left side grave site was once headstone on for her daughter Ada Skewes & it is no headstone at this time.

Estimable Woman passes away at her home. She had been ill for the past ten days with pleuro-pneumonia and died. She was a lovable lady and all of her friends known her as Grandma Bass. To know her was to love her, and she had uncountable friends. She leaves to mourn her loss, Veteran Civil War Corporal George Washington Bass, two sons Thomas Bass of Wood Cross, Utah, George Bass of Riverton, Utah and a daughter Ada (Bass) Skewes of Boise, Idaho.
