Funeral services were held at 2 pm Wednesday at the Wendell Methodist Church for A. A. Benson, 68, who died the morning of June 5 at his home of a heart attack.
He was born in Gilson, Illinois on March 12, 1880.
Mr. Benson was a resident of the Wendell area since 1925. He had previously lived in Buhl.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is five daughters; Mrs. Norval Rutherford; Mrs. Grant Zolinger; Lucille Benson; and Norma Benson, all of Jerome. Mrs. John Gates, Wendell; and a son, George Benson of Wendell.
The Rev. Asmond Maxwell, pastor of the Wendell Methodist Church officiated. Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Chapel.
