Egyptian Queen. Born the daughter of Ramses II and one of the pharaoh’s consorts, probably Istnofret. Interestingly, the queen's name, rather than a more traditional Egyptian name, appears to be Syrian, and means Daughter of Anath. She was the first of four daughters Ramses II married in ancient pharaonic custom and bore him at least one child. Her name has been variously recorded as Bintanath, Bint-Anath, and Bintanat.
