Mrs. Ruth Bentsen
QUINLAN—Services for Mrs. Ruth Bensen, 83, Quinlan, are set for 4 p.m. Wednesday at the LyBrand Funeral Home chapel of Quinlan with Don Benton officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Park, Quinlan.
Mrs. Bentsen died Monday in a Dallas hospital.
She was born Nov. 23, 1906, in Indian Territory, Okla., the daughter of W.B. Hudgins and Molly May (White) Hudgins.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 170 of Quinlan and Chapter 527 of Mission. She was a past matron of the Grand Chapter of Texas and 60 Year Order. She was a member of the quinlan Methodist Church and an associate member of the Lovers Lane Methodist Church in Dallas.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Neil and Billie Bentsen, Dallas, two sisters, Lorene Turner, Houston, and Annie Guest, New Braunfes; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
