Born in Norwalk, he was the son of the late Steven and Ann Czako Berardino. Mr. Berardino was a retired Letter Carrier with the Darien Post Office and was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was an avid bowler and golfer.
Surviving in addition to his wife is a sister, Sheila Young and her husband Richard W. Jr., of Seymour, Ct; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Berardino was predeceased by a son Glen Berardino.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, August 1st from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk.
A graveside service will be held following the visitation at 11:30 AM in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Avenue, Norwalk.
