Pamela K. Aguirre of Merritt Island, FL, formerly of Springfield, died of breast cancer. She was 49. Aguirre was born to Don and Phyllis Strub Berg. She served in the Air Force. She was a member of Calvary Chapel in Merritt Island and enjoyed participating in church activities. She also enjoyed traveling extensively while in the service. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Rick Aguirre; her father and his wife, Donna, of Coos Bay; two sons, Joshua and Nathaniel, both of Merritt Island; a daughter, Alana of Merritt Island; and two sisters, Patty Berg-Le of Cottage Grove and Tamara "Timmy" Estes of Eugene. Beckman-Williamson Funeral Chapel in Cocoa Beach is in charge of arrangements.
