Born in Vienna, Austria, Mr. Bergen moved to Florida in 1992 from Needham. He was retired.
He leaves his wife, Mildred Bergen, a daughter, Laurie Swofford of Tarpon Springs; three grandchildren, Jason, Heather and Bonnie; and three great-grandchildren, Aracelli, Elizabeth and Logan.
