Margaret Barbara(Bergin)Baker went home to be with her Lord and join her family on Monday, May 6, 2013 at New Life Assisted Living in Dewitt.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Watkins Brothers Funeral Home in Laingsburg with Pastor Gib Hale officiating. Family will greet friends on Thursday one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bath.

Margaret was born on August 20, 1914 in Lansing, the eldest child of Henry and Josphine (Koneckny) Bergin. She married George V. Baker on October 14, 1934 in Lansing and he predeceased her in 1997. She was a homemaker and life long resident of Michigan and member of Bath Baptist Church.

She is survived by daugher-in-law Gale Baker, grandchildren; George(Jodi) Baker, Marian (Tom) Reblin and Elizabeth (Josuha) Wallberg, great-grandchildren; Bonnie Baker and Aubrey and Gus Wallberg, neices and nephews. She was predeceased her only child Arthur Baker, her parents, five siblings, James Bergin, Dorothy Husted, Josephine Miller, Evelyn Holland and Patricia Barrett.
