Obituaries
Allen B. Bernsten Jr., 40?, of 4529 Elm st., Downers Grove, Illinois Bell Telephone company manager for Downers Grove, Hinsdale, and Westmount, died in the Hinsdale sanitarium yesterday. He had been employed by the telephone company for 22 years. He was vice president of the Family Service association and president of the Downers Grove grade school board. The widow, Ethel; a daughter, Yvonne; his father, Allen B. Sr., and two brothers, Clarence and Robert, survive. The funeral will be held in the First Methodist church of Downers Grove at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Irving Park Boulevard cemetery.
