Mrs. Albertine Berringer 1940 Bridgewater Bulletin

The death of Sophia Albertine Berringer, daughter of the late George and Rebecca Westhaver, occurred at her home at Big Lots on Sunday morning, August 11th, after a lingering illness. The deceased was 82 years of age. She lived at Laconia until her marriage to the late Henry Berringer, who pre-deceased her 27 years ago. She is survived by three children, Agnes, Mrs. Albert Dauphinee of North West; Harris, with whom she resided; and Aden of South Brookfield; a sister, Ada, Mrs. Albert Crouse, of Lapland; also two brothers, Albert of Bridgewater and Simon of Laconia; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild, Betty Lou Dauphinee. The funeral was held at her home on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, which was largely attended. The service was conducted by the pastor, Lic. G.P. Allen,who gave a very comforting address, also sang a solo, "Face to Face." Interment was at North West Cemetery with her four grandsons, Moyle, Earle, Aubrey, and Edward, being the pall bearers.
