Marcia Jo Berringer, 69 of Braceville passed away peacefully into eternal rest on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Lake Vista of Cortland. Marcia was born on August 28, 1944 in Ravenna, the daughter of the late Robert William Baker & Virgie Anona (Nash) Baker. She has lived in Braceville since 1967, formerly of Garrettsville.
On April 17, 1965, Marcia married Kenneth Eugene Berringer. Marcia and Kenneth have been blessed with 49 years of marriage.
Marcia was a girl scout troop leader. Marcia enjoyed crafting, sewing and traveling. Her favorite enjoyment was family camping trips to Mohican State Park.
Loving memories of Marcia will be carried on by her husband, Kenneth Berringer of Braceville, daughters, Sharon (Roger) Fabian of Cortland, Darlene (Leland) Solley of Southington, brothers, Tom (Geraldine) Baker of Michigan, Edward (Martha) Baker of Garrettsville, granddaughter, Stephanie Fabian and a great grandson, William Williams III. Marcia was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Berringer, brothers, Robert, Harry & Richard Baker and her sister, Avalyn Short.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 20, 2014 from 10:00 - 11:30 am at James Funeral Home in Newton Falls. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:30 am. Marcia will be laid to rest next to her son at Braceville Cemetery.
