Charlie Bethune
Charlie Frank Bethune, 92, of Sebring died Feb. 26, 2009. Born in Gadsden, Ala., she moved to Sebring in 1998. She worked at the drive-in theater in Homestead for 40 years, while at the same time owning and operating a furniture and appliance store.
She is survived by her daughters, Patricia A. Herron, Barbara J. Little; son, Charles W. "Bill"; brother, Gordon Miller; sister, Lucille Snyder; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Monday, March 2 at Dowden Funeral Home, Sebring, with the Rev. Darrell Peer officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to the time of service. Interment will be at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Naranja at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 3. In lieu of flowers, consider donations to the Habitat for Humanity of Sebring.
