Delores Mary Duby Skinner Beveridge, 98, of Terre Haute passed away on Saturday March 10, 2012 at 9:55 a.m. in Miller's Merry Manor in Sullivan. Delores was former owner/operator of the Seabury Tavern and Restaurant. She was born January 7, 1914 in Iryville, IN to Peter A. Duby and Cora (Cross) Duby. She is survived by two daughters: Patricia C. Steele of Sullivan and Charlotte L. Stroot of Terre Haute; a son: Paul W. Skinner of Avon, IN; six grandchildren: Brian Skinner, Jeff Skinner, Chris Stroot, Sheri Knight, Kelly Steele, and Kim Kuppler, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Norman Skinner, her second husband Kenneth Thomas Beveridge, a daughter: Barbara Skinner and 9 brothers and sisters. Delores was a Foster Grandmother for over 20 years with the Vigo County School Corporation. Visitation will be Monday March 12, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. Funeral services will be on Tuesday March 13, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Curt Howard officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
