Eugene B. Beckerdyke, 61, of Capitol, died of a heart attack at his ranch Saturday. He went to school there and at Camp Crook, S. Dak., and Spearfish, S. Dak.
In 1938 he married Fern Bruner in Miles City. They lived on a ranch west of Capitol.
Survivors include the widow; a son, James of Sundance, Wyo.; a daughter, Celia Beckerdyke of the family home; four sisters and a brother.
Funeral services at Little Missouri Lutheran Church in Capitol. Interment in Capitol cemetery.
He was born a son of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Beckerdyke on April 6, 1906, in Erickson, now named Capitol.
