Colonel Kader Biggs (1815-1884) married twice. His first wife was Jane Lavenia Cotten (1814-1845) daughter of Jesse Cotten II and Jane Lavenia Young. Kader and Jane married about 1843/44 and they had one daughter, Mary Jane Cotten Biggs. He later married Lucy Ann Myrick (1830-1909) in 1849, daughter of Walter B. Myrick and Ann O'Neil, they had two children: Walter Joseph Biggs and Loula M. Biggs.
