Rama Viola Rogers was born on March 31, 1911 to Amos Whitten Rogers, Sr. and Elizabeth "Lizzie" May Weis.
Rama married Benjamin Reed Campbell (1901-1936) on November 3, 1928. Together, they had 2 children:
1. Benjamin Reed Campbell II (1932-2016)
2. Peggy Louisa Campbell (1936-2017)
Sadly, Rama's husband died on November 19, 1936.
On February 14, 1943, Rama married Harley Upton Biggs, Sr. (1920-1997). They had 5 children, all sons:
1. William Estel Biggs (1946-2020)
2. Thomas Witten Biggs (1947-2002)
3. Jonathan Alton Biggs
4. Harley Upton Biggs, Jr. (1952-2009)
5. Charles Rogers Biggs (1953-2022)
Unfortunately, Rama was diagnosed with breast cancer in the mid 1950s and died at the age of 48, leaving behind a young family. According to her death certificate, her immediate cause of death was "lymphosarcoma generalized".
