Beatrice Biggs (aka Mickey) will always be known for her gentle and loving nature and devotion to her family and her Lord. She was member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church since 1953. She enjoyed playing rummy, reading, word games and especially bingo - her escape from the mayhem of raising five trying boys. She always had a positive disposition and a contagious smile that was enjoyed by family and friends, and continually noticed by strangers.
A special thanks to the staff and residents at Riverside Park Apartments, Spring Gardens of Orange Park assisted living facility and especially to the staff with Community Hospice. Mother had an enjoyable, comfortable and peaceful later years because of them.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church Jacksonville Anglican, 9917 103rd Street, Jacksonville, FL. A reception will be held at the church following the service. Mother will be interred with her husband at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257. Aaron and Burney Bivens Funeral Home.
