On November 9, 1942, Edna was united in marriage to LeRoy Biernacki. Together they ranched in Gardner Colorado area for many years.
Edna was very active with the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gardner. She loved watching sports, following her favorite teams, the Colorado Rockies and the Denver Broncos. She was an excellent cook, and everyone especially loved her fried chicken.
Edna is survived her children, Ellen (David) Miller, LeRoy (Judy) Biernacki; Katherine (Jack) Vernetti, Kenneth (Jill) Biernacki; Adair (Vicky) Biernacki; Douglas (Debbie) Biernacki; and Theodore Biernacki; sister, Betty; brother, LaVerne; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy in October, 2004; and sons, Thomas Biernacki; Eugene Biernacki; and Bernard Biernacki.
Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 9:15 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Florence, CO. Interment will follow at Union Highland Cemetery. Arrangements under the care of Holt Family Florence Historic Funeral Home.
