Carol Ann Billinger was born Jan. 1, 1947 in Quinter, KS to the late Nick and Josephine (Herzog) Waldman. She passed away Sunday, May 23, 2010 in the Salina Regional Health Center at Salina, KS at the age of 63.
She attended elementary school in Park and graduated from Park High School with the class of 1964. She attended college one year.
On April 16, 1966 Carol married Terry Billinger in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Park, KS. She started working at the Long Term Care in Quinter in 1965 as a Certified Medication Aide and later moved to medical records.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Altar Society. Even with a busy schedule her priority was always family first. She shared 53 years with her husband, Terry, which included 44 enjoyable years of marriage. Her other passions included her children and grandchild, shopping and watching her grandson race go-karts.
Those left to mourn her passing are her husband, two sons, Kerry Billinger and wife, Stephanie, Park, and Ron Billinger, Castle Rock, Colo.; a brother, Alfred Waldman, Park; a sister, Patty Younger and husband, Vern, Columbus, Neb.; and a grandson, Brett Billinger.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Carol was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who spent a life of service caring for others before her. Her love for family friends and community were unconditional. Her memories will be inplanted in our hearts always.
Service for Carol were Thursday, May 27 in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Park, KS with Father Kevin Weber officiating. Internment is in the church cemetery.
